Elizabeth Pulido Swiller is a partner at Tot Law, APC—San Diego’s premier law firm dedicated exclusively to children’s legal issues and family well‑being.
She is bilingual in Spanish and English and a fierce advocate and strategic negotiator with over two decades in child‑centered practice. Elizabeth is known for clear, steady guidance through high‑stakes matters affecting children and families.
Her calm, outcomes‑driven, and trauma‑informed approach centers every decision on a child’s safety, stability, and permanency. She anticipates agency and court timelines, aligns strategy to the facts and the family’s goals, and pursues the most efficient path—whether that means litigating decisively or securing durable agreements that work in practice, not just on paper.
Elizabeth’s experience spans the full arc of child and family well‑being matters. She began her career as a paralegal to a Certified Family Law Specialist, gaining hands-on expertise in complex family matters before passing the California Bar in 2004. She practiced as an associate attorney and, in 2007, co-founded Jazo & Swiller with Linda A. Jazo. Their practice later joined Tot Law, APC, to deliver comprehensive, child‑focused advocacy under one roof.
Her prior service with the Center for Community Solutions—leading domestic violence clinics and connecting survivors to legal and safety resources—continues to inform her practical, people-first counseling in urgent situations.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and dogs, Max and Daisy. Most days, you can find Elizabeth spending her free time cheering loudly at her daughter’s gymnastics tournaments and her sons’ soccer games.
